Job Description

A community bank in Rifle is hiring a Credit Analyst to support its lending team across Garfield County and the Western Slope. You'll work closely with loan officers on underwriting and risk rating, with a path toward lending or credit leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Spread and analyze financials for commercial, real estate, and ag borrowers
• Assign risk ratings to new loans and watch existing credit lines
• Write clear credit memos that support lending decisions
• Assist with month-end, regulatory, and loan review reporting
• Support compliance with loan policy and exam requirements
• Help train and mentor newer team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• A year or more as a bank credit analyst preferred
• Comfortable with spreadsheets and financial modeling
• Strong writer and clear communicator
• Wants to grow into lending or senior credit
