Commercial Real Estate Associate

A well-established, multispecialty law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team handling sophisticated commercial real estate matters while taking on meaningful responsibility and direct client interaction.

About the Role

As a member of the Commercial Real Estate Practice, you will work with clients and attorneys on a broad range of transactions, including:

  • Commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions
  • Commercial leasing
  • Real estate development
  • Real estate financing
  • Zoning and land use matters
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchase and sale agreements
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial leases and development agreements
  • Reviewing and negotiating loan documents
  • Conducting and managing real estate due diligence, including title and survey review

This role provides the opportunity for immediate client contact, substantive responsibility, and exposure to complex commercial real estate transactions.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience practicing real estate law, with a focus on commercial transactions
  • Admission to practice law in Virginia
  • Strong writing, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and client-management abilities
  • A collaborative, proactive approach
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters effectively

Compensation & Location

  • Location: Richmond, Virginia
  • Compensation may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience.
