I am partnered with a highly rated multi practice Civil Litigation Defense Law Firm in Houston, TX that has a national reach, and routinely represents clients in jurisdicitons both inside and outside of TX. This firm is dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services, and the firm is ideally seeking a 7-12 year Attorney - PI & Construction Defect Defense. This presents an incredible opportunity for candidates who are eager to apply their expertise.

Position: Attorney - PI & Construction Defense

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of insurance defense litigation matters, guiding them from discovery to resolution.
  • Prepare a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and more.
  • Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and actively participate in trial and mediation proceedings.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal teams to build robust cases.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in TX.
  • 7-12 years experience preferred in personal injury and construction defect defense.
  • Trial experience preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
