Signage Company Account Manager NEEDED IN TEXAS - RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROVIDED

We are a reputable leader in the signage industry, known for its commitment to innovation and delivering high-quality signage solutions. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Signage Account Manager to lead the management and development of multiple customers; oversee the organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of signage manufacturing and installation projects with a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators. If you have 5+ years of experience in architectural and/or commercial sign sales or account management and are a self-starter who excels at building client relationships and developing teams, we want to hear from you.

 Signage Account Manager Job Duties:

  • Team Leadership & Development Manage a team of 3–5 project managers responsible for multiple customer accounts.
  • Interview, select, and onboard new team members to build a high-performing team.
  • Conduct periodic skill gap analyses and recommend training to strengthen capabilities.
  • Perform mid-year and annual performance reviews, providing feedback and development plans.

Signage Account Manager Project & Account Oversight

  • Oversee the assigned team of project managers executing customer projects from start to finish.
  • Assists the team in troubleshooting and problem solving complicated site specific issues.
  • Review customer quotes, purchase orders, change orders, and final billing to ensure accuracy and compliance with margin targets.
  • Monitor financials and project progress reports to stay within expected timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee large PO approvals and address internal QC issues to maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly project debrief meetings with project managers and director to drive continuous improvement.
  • Periodically oversee complex projects or projects of new customers to ensure successful onboarding of new customers.

Signage Account Manager Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and analyze internal KPIs.
  • Prepare and submit account budgets, progress updates, and cost-tracking reports for customers.
  • Update customers’ sales forecasts.
  • Schedule and lead weekly customer project review meetings with team members.
  • Set and manage weekly billing/project meetings to keep projects aligned with monthly forecasts.

Signage Account Manager Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison for assigned customers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Communicate regularly with customers via email, phone, and scheduled calls.
  • Work with customers to secure additional opportunities, expand regional presence, and grow market share.
  • Conduct quarterly Program Notes reviews to ensure accuracy of customer data.

Signage Account Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in account management and/or sales.
  • Ability to develop and mentor Project Managers
  • Thorough understanding of ERP systems.
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, strong presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in the management of complex projects and multiple projects concurrently. 
  • This position requires approximately 10% domestic travel with some overnight stays.
