Drywall Construction Estimator in Alpharetta

Job Description

An established drywall contractor is looking for an experienced Estimator to add to their team.  They specialize on ground-up commercial projects for major GC's in the metro area.  This passionate company values excellence and enthusiasm.  They are willing to relocate the right person for their team.  They have a strong backlog and work on diverse projects. 

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the overall estimate completeness/accuracy and control of the project budget.
• Conceptual and hard-bid estimating, quantity take-offs, material, and subcontractor pricing to assist with owner/architect collaboration 
• Approve project proposals/bid packages prior to presentation
• Provide leadership and oversight of work with clients in the pursuit of new projects and conceptually prepare rough budgets for repeat clients

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience for a drywall contractor
• Has a book of business
• Experience in commercial construction
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• Experience in Conceptual, Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction document budgets and estimates
• Estimating software knowledge preferred to include OST
