Job Description

Currently seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of litigation experience to join a growing practice in Quincy, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build a sophisticated litigation practice representing business owners in complex disputes while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Unlike many litigation firms, this position offers no billable hour requirement, allowing attorneys to focus on delivering exceptional client service and developing their legal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Represent business owners in a wide range of business litigation matters.
  • Handle fiduciary and probate litigation cases from inception through resolution.
  • Manage disputes involving wills, trusts, estates, and business assets.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
  • Participate in court appearances, depositions, hearings, and mediations.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues on complex, high-value litigation matters.
  • Develop litigation strategies and provide practical legal advice to clients.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts or eligible for admission.
  • 1–3 years of litigation experience.
  • Experience with fiduciary and probate litigation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with will contests, trust disputes, and asset-related litigation is a plus.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters while working effectively in a collaborative team environment.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of $90,000–$110,000, based on experience.
  • No billable hour requirement.
  • Opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value litigation matters.
  • Collaborative and supportive firm culture with direct mentorship.
  • Meaningful opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • Practice focused on quality legal work—not collections or high-volume insurance defense.

If you are an ambitious litigation attorney looking to gain hands-on experience in complex business, fiduciary, and probate litigation, we encourage you to apply.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
