Senior Tax Manager – The Woodlands, TX
A leading regional accounting firm is seeking an accomplished Senior Tax Manager to join our growing office in The Woodlands, Texas. Lead complex tax compliance and consulting engagements for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
Review and prepare federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
Provide advanced tax planning, research, and strategy to optimize client tax positions
Mentor and develop tax staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence
Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service and proactive advice
Collaborate with partners and other departments to deliver integrated solutions and support firm growth initiatives
Stay current on tax law changes and industry trends to provide informed recommendations
CPA license required
Minimum of 7 years of public accounting tax experience with demonstrated leadership skills
Strong technical knowledge of federal, multi-state, and local tax laws and regulations
Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and lead teams effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
Experience with real estate, pass-through entities, or manufacturing clients is a plus
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to The Woodlands, TX or surrounding areas
