Tax Manager – Dallas, TX

A well-respected regional accounting firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Tax Manager to join its growing Dallas office. This role offers a great opportunity to lead tax engagements, mentor staff, and provide high-quality tax services to a diverse client base in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review complex tax compliance projects for corporations, partnerships, and individuals

  • Prepare, review, and file federal, state, and local tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance

  • Provide tax planning, research, and consulting services tailored to client needs

  • Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff to develop technical skills and career progression

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor

  • Coordinate with other firm departments to deliver integrated solutions

  • Stay current on tax law changes and communicate implications to clients and staff


Qualifications:

  • CPA license required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting tax services

  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines efficiently

  • Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations, with multi-state tax experience preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring staff

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Dallas, TX metropolitan area
