Looking for a hands-on challenge in the Sunshine State? You're in luck! A custom signage company in the area is actively looking for an experienced Sign Fabricator to add to their growing team. This position will involve the creation and completion custom architectural signage — including channel letters, post and panel systems, wayfinding signs, and more. If you have the strong metalworking and welding background and attention to detail to make our clients' art look compelling and spectacular, then let's get talking! 

Sign Fabricator Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble signs according to production drawings and specifications
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on aluminum and steel
  • Operate fabrication tools and machinery (e.g., brakes, shears, punches, saws, drill presses)
  • Take 100% accurate measurements to ensure components fit properly
  • Select, cut, and modify materials according to clients' specifications
  • Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality standards
  • Take good care of tools and equipment. They need to last a long time!
  • Notify supervisors of any defective equipment or other issue
  • Coordinate as a team with production, installation, project management, and design departments
  • Follow safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace

Sign Fabricator Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of fabrication experience within the signage industry required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A positive attitude required
  • Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques
  • Welding certificate preferred but not required
  • Overtime and occasional weekends as needed
