Tax Senior Manager

Location: Madison, WI (other Wisconsin offices considered)

Overview

A leading national advisory, tax and assurance firm is seeking a Tax Senior Manager for its Madison, Wisconsin practice (Janesville, Milwaukee and Appleton also considered). The role delivers industry-focused tax advisory and compliance services to middle-market clients and mentors staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry-focused tax advisory and compliance services to middle-market clients
• Work with firm leadership to serve clients and build the business
• Mentor and coach staff on technical and professional skills
• Manage complex tax engagements and client relationships
• Support business development
• Stay current on tax law changes affecting clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; master's or advanced degree desirable
• CPA or EA required
• 8+ years of experience providing federal and state tax compliance and consulting
• Strong technical tax and leadership skills
