HVAC Engineer in Houston

Job Description

Overview: One of that nations-top Architecture/Engineering firms who specializes in large and highly complex projects around the world, is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join their rapidly-growing team. This role offers the opportunity to act as a leader in the Mechanical Engineering department, supervise staff's day to day responsibilities while acting as the technical leader on all projects. 

HVAC Engineer Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems including heating, cooling, heat rejection, air distribution, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation and controls.
• Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development and construction documents
• Deliver projects across multiple delivery models, including design/bid/build, design assist, design build
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Government, Healthcare, Higher Education and Science & Technology
• Maintain strong client relations as it pertains to project delivery and repeat business

HVAC Engineer Qualifications

• Professional Degree in Engineering required from an accredited four-year university
• P.E. License Required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an engineer, designing HVAC systems
• Experience and strong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Piping, Boiler, Chiller or Related Mechanical Building system
• Experience with monitoring and managing project budgets
• Project management and supervisor experience preferred
