Selections & Estimating Coordinator

We are a well-established custom home builder known for delivering high-quality, thoughtfully designed homes with exceptional craftsmanship. We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Selections & Estimating Coordinator to guide homeowners through the design and finish selection process while supporting estimating and cost management efforts.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the creative side of client selections and the analytical side of budgeting and pricing.

Key Responsibilities Client Selections & Design Coordination

• Guide clients through all interior and exterior selections including:

  • Flooring, tile, cabinetry, countertops

  • Plumbing and lighting fixtures

  • Paint colors, hardware, trim details

  • Exterior finishes and materials

• Schedule and lead selection meetings with homeowners

• Provide professional guidance while managing allowances and budgets

Estimating & Cost Management

• Assist in preparing preliminary budgets and detailed cost estimates

• Solicit and review vendor and subcontractor bids

• Verify pricing, availability, and lead times on selected materials

• Track allowances and identify overages/credits

• Prepare and process change orders with accurate cost breakdowns

• Update budgets as selections and scope adjustments occur

• Work closely with project managers to ensure cost alignment throughout the build

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in residential construction, estimating, or interior design

• Experience with custom or semi-custom home builders preferred

• Strong understanding of residential construction materials and pricing

• Ability to read plans and specifications

• Experience reviewing subcontractor bids and proposals

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software
