Job Description

A well-established, community-focused financial institution is seeking an experienced Commercial / Agricultural Lender to lead the next chapter of its growth in Southern Illinois. This role is ideal for a lender who values autonomy, strong client relationships, and local decision-making. You’ll join a stable, well-capitalized community bank with a healthy loan portfolio, a collaborative culture, and leadership committed to sustainable growth.

Qualifications
• 7–12 years of commercial and/or agricultural lending experience in a community or regional bank
• Proven success managing portfolios of $10MM–$25MM+
• Strong understanding of C&I, CRE, and ag operating or equipment loans
• Skilled in financial analysis, credit underwriting, and client relationship management
• Familiarity with SBA, USDA, and FSA programs preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Active involvement in local business and community organizations

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience
Performance Bonus: Annual incentive based on portfolio growth, fee income, and credit quality
