Director, Commercial Insurance Operations

Hybrid - North Jersey | $190,000 - $220,000k

This foundational role will build out the commercial brokerage operations responsible for managing large construction accounts over $3M in premium each.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage Construction and Healthcare related accounts, including General Liability, Workers Compensation, Umbrella, and Builders Risk exposures. 
• Oversee transitional team and hire new members to handle renewals, new business, and endorsements by collecting and reviewing payroll, loss runs, SOVs, fleet lists, subcontractor details, and project info. 
• Prepare accurate underwriting submissions.
• Create clear policy issuance and billing instructions to ensure timely and correct binding. 
• Manage post-bind service needs such as carrier communication, certificates, claims notices, and onboarding
• During transitional phase, address client, carrier, and internal questions on policy changes, audits, billing, endorsements, and coverage.

• Licensed in P&C in NY & NJ
