Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Client Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will partner with Risk Advisors to independently manage a book of employee benefits clients, ensuring exceptional service, proactive support, and successful management of new and renewal business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned accounts.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for new and renewal business.
• Prepare submissions, proposals, presentations, and spreadsheets for insurance carriers and clients.
• Negotiate coverage terms, benefits, and pricing with carriers.
• Coordinate new business onboarding, renewals, enrollments, coverage changes, and terminations.
• Conduct open enrollment meetings and employee benefit presentations.
• Resolve claims issues, billing discrepancies, COBRA questions, and carrier-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate client and policy data within the agency management system.
• Proactively engage clients throughout the year to provide ongoing support and service.
• Respond to client, carrier, and member inquiries within 24 hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active California Life & Health License required.
• 5+ years of employee benefits experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
