Senior Accountant

A Top CPA firm in the area is looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to their team. Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Understand detailed accounting concepts
• Understand & enjoy Accounting, Tax, & Auditing
• Perform related Tax and Accounting research
• Management of staff workload and engagements
• Communicate with auditors and other external organizations
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Prepping/reviewing 1065, 1120, 1040, 1041, and related consulting
• Perform data entry into accounting systems
• Provide financial support to projects
• Perform cost accounting
• Prepare financial statements., Maintain and monitor the accounting system

Qualifications:

• BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree
• Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
• Tax: 3 years (Preferred)
• Audit 3 years (Preferred)
• Previous experience in Public Accounting (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPA License
• Enrolled Agent

Job Type: Full-time - Permanent

Pay: $60,000-90,000 BOE
