Litigation Associate Attorney – North San Diego 

A well-established boutique civil litigation firm in North San Diego is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience, ideally in business or real estate litigation. The firm offers a collaborative culture, strong mentorship, a reasonable 1600-hour billable requirement, and early client exposure. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all phases of litigation from case initiation through trial or settlement.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
  • Manage client communication and case updates.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and team members on complex litigation matters.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active member in good standing with the California Bar.
  • Minimum 2 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in business or real estate litigation.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motions practice.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and case management abilities.
