Project Manager – Commercial Construction (K-12 & Higher Education Projects)

A well-established Commercial General Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee school construction projects, including K-12 and higher education facilities. This is a great opportunity for a motivated Project Manager who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in building educational spaces that serve communities for generations.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
Lead all phases of school construction projects from preconstruction to final turnover as the primary Project Manager.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, school boards, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Manage project schedules, subcontractors, change orders, RFIs, and documentation with precision and accountability.
Ensure all construction activities meet safety, quality, and compliance standards, particularly with school-specific requirements.
Represent the company at jobsite meetings, school board updates, and community presentations as needed.
Project Manager Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, with a strong background in school/educational facility projects.
Proven ability to manage occupied campus renovations, additions, and ground-up builds.
Familiarity with public bid processes, state education department standards, and DSA/ADA compliance (as applicable).
Excellent communication, scheduling, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.).
