Job Description

Here's a chance to drive growth for an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector on large Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. The permanent full-time Business Development Manager position offers $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives and includes Midwest travel.

How you'll spend your time

• Represent an AISC-certified Michigan erector to clients and across the industry
• Find and develop steel erection opportunities with owners and general contractors region-wide
• Build winning pursuit plans for structural packages of 5,000+ tons
• Travel around the Midwest to deepen relationships and advance pursuits
• Monitor competitor activity, bid calendars, and the Midwest project outlook

Requirements

• Business development or sales experience in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
• Comfortable pursuing large-tonnage projects across the Midwest
• Relationships with general contractors, fabricators, or owners a plus
• Able to travel the Midwest
• Good communicator with a history of closing work
