Job Description

Put your estimating skills to work for a structural steel fabricator in the Hamilton, OH area. You'll price fabricated and erected steel packages for commercial and industrial projects, building bids that are accurate and competitive.

Responsibilities:

• Request and compare quotes for detailing, erection, galvanizing, coatings, and freight
• Take off and price structural and miscellaneous steel from plans and specifications
• Assemble full estimates for material, shop labor, and erection, and put together proposals
• Review constructability and sequencing with project managers and steel erectors

Requirements:

• 5+ years of structural steel estimating
• Strong at reading blueprints
• Experience with Tekla EPM, SDS2, or similar estimating software
