Confidential Food Manufacturer | Meat / Protein Processing
Full-Time | High-Impact Leadership Role

Compensation: $140,000 – $155,000 base + benefits

A well-established, growing protein manufacturing operation is seeking a proven Operations Manager to lead day-to-day plant performance across production, safety, quality, and people development. This is a highly visible role for a hands-on leader who knows how to drive results in fast-paced, high-volume meat processing environments.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Oversee daily operations across production, fabrication, and further-processing departments

  • Lead, coach, and hold accountability with supervisors and frontline leadership

  • Ensure full compliance with USDA, food safety, QA, HACCP, and GMP standards

  • Drive improvements in yields, labor efficiency, throughput, and downtime reduction

  • Partner closely with Maintenance, QA, Supply Chain, and HR

  • Champion a safety-first culture with consistent execution on the floor

  • Execute KPIs, operational initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of operations or production leadership in meat or protein manufacturing

  • Strong working knowledge of USDA-regulated facilities

  • Demonstrated success improving plant performance, efficiency, and output

  • Confident, steady leader with strong communication and team-building skills

  • Hands-on mindset with the ability to lead from the floor
