Senior Asbestos Litigation Paralegal (Plaintiff-Side)
A growing plaintiff litigation firm is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal with a strong background in asbestos and toxic tort litigation to join their team. This position is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and is passionate about advocating for injured clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Manage asbestos/toxic tort cases from intake through trial
- Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, medical summaries, and trial materials
- Coordinate document collection, record review, and case organization
- Maintain and review large volumes of medical, employment, and exposure records
- Assist attorneys with deposition preparation, expert coordination, and trial preparation
- Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel
- Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and scheduling orders
- Support settlement preparation and lien resolution efforts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of plaintiff-side asbestos litigation experience required
- Strong understanding of asbestos, mesothelioma, and toxic exposure litigation
- Experience handling high-volume, complex litigation matters
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Trial preparation experience strongly preferred
