Senior Asbestos Litigation Paralegal (Plaintiff-Side)

A growing plaintiff litigation firm is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal with a strong background in asbestos and toxic tort litigation to join their team. This position is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and is passionate about advocating for injured clients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Manage asbestos/toxic tort cases from intake through trial
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, medical summaries, and trial materials
  • Coordinate document collection, record review, and case organization
  • Maintain and review large volumes of medical, employment, and exposure records
  • Assist attorneys with deposition preparation, expert coordination, and trial preparation
  • Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel
  • Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and scheduling orders
  • Support settlement preparation and lien resolution efforts

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of plaintiff-side asbestos litigation experience required
  • Strong understanding of asbestos, mesothelioma, and toxic exposure litigation
  • Experience handling high-volume, complex litigation matters
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Trial preparation experience strongly preferred
