A highly respected, nationally recognized law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of civil litigation experience to join its growing Insurance Services practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who enjoys legal analysis, sophisticated litigation, and working alongside experienced mentors on complex, high-exposure matters.

This practice represents major insurance carriers in coverage analysis and litigation involving a diverse range of industries and claims, including product liability, mass torts, environmental matters, transportation, professional liability, personal injury, habitability, and intellectual property disputes.

Whether you already have insurance coverage experience or are a strong civil litigator looking to develop a highly specialized practice, this team is committed to providing the mentorship and training needed for long-term success.

What You'll Be Doing

• Handle sophisticated insurance coverage analysis and civil litigation matters in state and federal courts.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and other strategic legal documents.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and client strategy sessions.
• Collaborate closely with experienced attorneys on litigation strategy, risk analysis, and case evaluation.
• Communicate directly with clients while developing strong litigation and counseling skills.
• Take on meaningful responsibility early while receiving exceptional mentorship and guidance.

What We're Looking For

• Active California Bar license.
• 1+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to grow.
• Insurance coverage experience is a plus but not required.
