Summary: The Insurance Producer plays a key role in generating new business and maintaining client relationships by selling various insurance products and services in the personal sector. This role involves prospecting, presenting, and negotiating insurance policies tailored to meet the needs of personal lines clients.
Responsibilities:

Business Development:
- Identify and prospect potential clients in the personal sector through various means, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities for new business.

Client Consultation and Needs Analysis:
- Meet with potential clients to understand their insurance needs and assess risk factors.
- Analyze client's existing insurance coverage and provide recommendations for suitable policies.

Tailored Insurance Solutions:
- Customize insurance proposals and present them to clients, addressing their specific business needs and risks.
- Collaborate with underwriters to develop comprehensive insurance solutions and negotiate terms and coverage.

Sales and Relationship Management:
- Generate and present quotes to clients, explaining coverage, terms, and conditions.
- Close sales and manage the entire sales process, ensuring accurate and efficient documentation.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and addressing inquiries or concerns.

Market and Industry Knowledge:
- Stay updated with industry trends, insurance products, and market conditions to offer informed advice and solutions.
- Maintain knowledge of various insurance carriers and their product offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in insurance sales with a successful sales track record.
- Relevant insurance licenses as per state regulations.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management.
- Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and Microsoft Office suite.
