Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Survey Crew Chief to lead survey projects for private and public clients. This role offers the chance to manage survey crews, oversee projects from start to finish, and collaborate closely with clients and team members. The position is mainly office-based, with occasional fieldwork and client meetings. Strong communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead survey crews on boundary and topographic surveys
  • Supervise field crews for accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to project requirements
  • Operate survey equipment, including total stations and GPS
  • Interpret construction plans and locate property markers
  • Communicate with clients, project teams, and coworkers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying
  • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (P.L.S.)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • 5+ years of surveying experience (preferred)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
