Labor & Employment Attorney – Dallas, TX

A nationally respected litigation firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney to join its growing Houston team. Partners are strongly encouraged to apply, and the firm is open to lateral partners as well as equity candidates with a portable book of business of approximately $500K. This role offers meaningful courtroom exposure, strong mentorship, and a clear path for long-term advancement.

Must-Haves for the Labor & Employment Attorney

  • Active Texas law license

  • 1–15+ years of labor & employment or civil litigation experience

  • Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills

  • Ability to independently manage deadlines and multiple matters

  • Deposition or hearing experience preferred

What You’ll Do as the Labor & Employment Attorney

  • Handle a mix of labor & employment and general defense litigation matters

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal research

  • Take and defend depositions and support trial preparation

  • Work directly with partners on case strategy and motion practice

  • Contribute to a collaborative, trial-focused litigation team

Nice-to-Haves for the Labor & Employment Attorney

  • Trial or arbitration experience

  • Experience with wage & hour, discrimination, retaliation, or workplace investigations

  • Interest in expanding into related practice areas or cross-disciplinary work
