Transactional Real Estate / HOA Associate Attorney| Asheville, NC

A well-established and growing Western North Carolina law firm is seeking a Transactional Real Estate Associate Attorney with strong HOA experience to join its Asheville office (100% in-office). This is a standout opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney ready to take ownership of the firm’s HOA practice, build a book of business, and progress toward partnership.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, manage, and grow the firm’s HOA and community association practice
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and residential real estate contracts
  • Manage real estate transactions and closings from contract through completion
  • Conduct due diligence, title review, and resolve title-related issues
  • Advise clients on HOA governance, zoning, land use, and leasing matters
  • Collaborate with clients, lenders, brokers, and other stakeholders
  • Actively participate in business development and community networking

What We’re Looking For

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active North Carolina Bar license
  • 3–5 years of transactional real estate experience (commercial and residential)
  • Hands-on HOA experience (required)
  • Strong drafting, organizational, and client-facing skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in practice growth and leadership
