Job Title: Data Analyst

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support business decision-making through data analysis, reporting, and insights. This role partners with multiple departments to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to operations, financial performance, risk, and customer trends.

The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, and able to translate data into meaningful insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and validate data from multiple internal systems

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics

  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve efficiency and performance

  • Support departments such as lending, operations, finance, compliance, and marketing

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports

  • Assist with data governance, documentation, and process improvement initiatives

  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed

  • Communicate findings clearly to leadership and business partners

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Business, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related role (banking or financial services preferred)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools

  • Experience working with databases and structured data

  • Ability to explain data insights to non-technical audiences

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools

  • Prior experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments

  • Understanding of financial, operational, or risk-related data
