Job Description

High-Stakes Medical Malpractice Attorney | West Hollywood (On-Site)

*Confidential application process*

Are you a litigator who thrives in the high-stakes world of catastrophic injury but is looking for a more manageable caseload where you can truly focus on the details?

A prestigious law firm in West Hollywood is seeking a seasoned Medical Malpractice or Catastrophic Personal Injury Attorney to join their elite team. This role is designed for a strategic "closer" who excels at building a case through rigorous discovery and high-level deposition work.

The Opportunity: Quality Over Quantity

Unlike high-volume firms, this position offers a focused caseload of only 12–16 high-value cases per year. You will have the resources and time to dive deep into the technical and medical complexities of each file.

  • Strategic Focus: 98% of the firm's cases settle before trial. Your primary objective is to build an undeniable case through expert discovery and masterfully executed depositions.
  • Location: 100% in-office in Los Angeles (Monday – Friday).
  • The Work: Heavy deposition work is the backbone of this role. You must be comfortable and experienced in taking and defending high-stakes testimony.

Unmatched Compensation Structure

We believe in rewarding the expertise required to handle life-altering injury cases.

  • Base Salary: $175,000 – $200,000 (commensurate with experience).
  • Guaranteed Performance Bonus: You will receive 3.5% of attorney fees on every case you work on.
  • Earning Potential: Due to the high-value nature of these settlements, attorneys in this firm consistently earn total compensation exceeding $400,000 annually.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–12 years of experience in Medical Malpractice or Catastrophic Personal Injury litigation.
  • Deposition Expertise: A proven track record of taking and defending a high volume of depositions.
  • Licensure: Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
  • Mindset: Detail-oriented, medically curious, and driven by securing justice for clients through meticulous preparation.
