Gpac is partnering with a growing client in Mishawaka, IN to hire an Entry-Level Nutritionist to support formulation development, nutritional analysis, and quality initiatives within a fast-paced pet food manufacturing environment.

This is a great opportunity for a early-career professional looking to build hands-on experience in pet nutrition, product development, and manufacturing operations while working alongside quality, production, and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the nutritional analysis and evaluation of feed ingredients and pet food formulations
• Support the development of balanced, high-quality pet food products
• Research emerging ingredient innovations and nutrition trends within the pet food industry
• Help ensure products meet nutritional standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare technical documentation, formulation records, and internal reports
• Provide nutritional insights and technical support to cross-functional teams
• Maintain accurate formulation data and research documentation
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve product performance and consistency
• Participate in product trials, evaluations, and occasional field visits as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Food Science, or a related field
• Understanding of animal nutrition and feed formulation fundamentals
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain detailed records
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
