Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and equipment installation on manufacturing machinery and production equipment. This position plays a key role in maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including mills, lathes, drill presses, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Replace and repair machine components including motors, bearings, belts, pumps, valves, and other mechanical assemblies.
  • Assist with machine alignment, calibration, leveling, and equipment setup.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Support production equipment changeovers and machine startups.
  • Complete maintenance documentation and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Follow all OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company safety procedures.
  • Assist with equipment installations and larger maintenance projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties to support plant operations.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience maintaining industrial machinery such as CNC equipment, mills, lathes, drill presses, conveyors, or similar production equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as needed.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred

  • Basic PLC troubleshooting experience.
  • Welding and fabrication experience.
  • Experience with CMMS or computerized maintenance systems.
  • Forklift or aerial lift certification.
  • Six or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
