We are partnered with a growing commercial general contractor seeking an Assistant Superintendent / Field Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in field leadership with a strong pipeline of work.
About the Role:
This position will play a key role in managing daily field operations, supporting the Superintendent in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing day-to-day job site operations
Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors and vendors
Monitor and enforce job site safety standards and compliance
Track project progress and help maintain schedules
Ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards
Qualifications:
1–4+ years of experience in commercial construction (field or project engineer experience preferred)
Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software is a plus
