About the Opportunity: A respected law firm in Ohio is seeking a motivated Estate and Tax Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least 5 or more years of experience, who is looking to take on meaningful responsibility and grow within a collaborative environment. The firm is also open to candidates with experience from other practice areas.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Draft estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives).
    • Advise clients on tax strategies to minimize estate, gift, and income tax liabilities.
    • Administer estates and probate after a client's death.
    • Create and manage trusts for asset protection and wealth transfer.
    • Develop business succession plans for business owners transitioning ownership.
    • Provide legal counsel on tax compliance and IRS matters, including audits, disputes, and regulatory issues.

Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
    • Active state bar license and good standing.
    • Experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
    • Knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
    • Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
