Project Engineer – Multifamily / Mixed-Use Construction

We’re supporting a growing general contractor and developer that specializes in delivering high-quality multifamily and mixed-use communities. With multiple new ground-up projects in the pipeline, they’re looking to bring on a Project Engineer who’s eager to learn, collaborate, and grow within a strong project team.

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to the full construction lifecycle and a direct path into future Project Management opportunities.


What You’ll Do

  • Partner closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to keep projects running smoothly

  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation

  • Assist with schedule updates, cost tracking, and procurement

  • Review plans, specs, and contract requirements to ensure alignment in the field

  • Interface with subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams to maintain progress

  • Support quality control, safety initiatives, and project closeout activities


What You Bring

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar — or equivalent project experience

  • 2–5+ years in commercial or multifamily construction environments

  • Experience working on ground-up jobs is strongly preferred

  • Ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and solve problems proactively

  • Familiar with Procore, Bluebeam, and other industry tools

  • Positive attitude and a drive to take on new challenges
