Our client, a reputable law firm known for its expertise in estate planning and commitment to providing high-quality legal services, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Estate Planning Attorney to join their team in The Chicago Suburbs. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to develop their career in a supportive and client-focused legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a caseload of estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, and other related documents.
• Conduct consultations with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic legal guidance on estate planning issues.
• Draft, review, and execute estate planning documents tailored to clients’ goals.
• Stay up-to-date on state and federal estate planning laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal client outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to client case strategy and planning.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of estate planning experience
• Must be Bar licensed in Illinois, in good standing.
• Strong legal writing, research, and client consultation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a client-centered environment.
• Portable book of business highly desired
• Finance background a plus
• Experience with WealthCounsel a plus
