Position Overview
We have recently partnered with a strong Ag business who is ready to bring on a new Energy Director to oversee and advance its energy division. This individual will be responsible for personnel leadership, operational oversight, financial performance, and strategic growth within the energy department. The ideal candidate will possess strong management capabilities, sales-driven leadership, and industry experience in energy, propane, oil, or related sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction for all day-to-day operations within the energy division.
Oversee a team of approximately 15 employees, including administrative staff, service management, service technicians, drivers, logistics personnel, and sales representatives.
Direct inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and logistics to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Work closely with the CEO on departmental financials, budgeting, growth initiatives, and margin improvement strategies.
Maintain compliance with all applicable safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
Foster a positive, performance-driven culture focused on service, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
Demonstrated leadership experience in energy, propane, oil, or related industries preferred; agronomy sales or other agricultural backgrounds will also be considered.
Strong sales acumen with a proven ability to grow business, manage customer relationships, and drive profitability.
Prior management experience or a track record of high performance in a sales role with readiness to advance into leadership.
Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a diverse team across multiple locations.
