Litigation Paralegal Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys throughout all stages of civil litigation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple matters in a fast-paced law firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all phases of civil litigation
- Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, and other legal documents
- Assist with discovery, including document review, organization, and responses
- Coordinate filings, deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial preparation
- Maintain case files and litigation calendars
- Prepare deposition, mediation, and trial materials
- Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed
- Assist with legal research and case preparation
- Manage multiple cases and competing deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience preferred
- Experience supporting attorneys in civil litigation matters
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
- ABA preferred
