Position: Senior Personal Injury Attorney

Location: Olympia, WA

Work Arrangement: Full-Time, On-Site

Salary Range: $250,000 – $350,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, trial-ready Senior Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing firm in Olympia, Washington. This role requires a skilled litigator capable of managing high-value personal injury claims, leading a dedicated support team, and taking complex cases from intake through verdict or settlement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload of high-complexity plaintiff personal injury files (e.g., motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death).

  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, and leading mediation, arbitration, and jury trials.

  • Develop and execute aggressive, effective litigation strategies to maximize recovery for clients.

  • Oversee and mentor assigned paralegals, legal assistants, and case managers.

  • Maintain frequent, compassionate communication with clients to guide them through the legal process.

Qualifications

  • Education & License: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA).

  • Experience: Minimum of 7–10+ years of dedicated personal injury litigation experience, with a proven track record of handling high-value settlements and trial verdicts.

  • Trial Experience: Demonstrated lead-counsel experience in Washington Superior Courts.

  • Skills: Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, advocacy, and interpersonal communication skills.
