A confidential, nationally recognized food manufacturing company is seeking a Plant Manager to lead operations at one of its Ready-to-Eat (RTE) facilities. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing production, warehouse, maintenance, quality, and sanitation, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, food safety, and team development.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all aspects of plant operations (production, maintenance, warehouse, QA, sanitation)
- Drive efficiency, food safety, and compliance with USDA/FDA standards
- Recruit, mentor, and build high-performing teams
- Manage budgets, KPIs, and workflow to achieve operational goals
- Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in a USDA/FDA-regulated food manufacturing leadership role (required)
- Experience in food packaging operations (required)
- HACCP certification and strong food safety knowledge
- Proven track record of managing costs, people, and plant performance
- Experience in RTE or meat a plus!
