Litigation Associate Attorney – Seattle, WA
A well-established law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Seattle team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience who is looking to take on meaningful responsibility and continue developing as a litigator.
What You'll Do
Handle a caseload from initial case development through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings and other court proceedings
Work closely with partners and other attorneys on complex litigation matters
Communicate with clients and provide case updates
Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy
What We're Looking For
2+ years of civil litigation experience
Active Washington Bar membership
Strong legal research and writing skills
Experience with discovery and pretrial motions
Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with complex litigation, product liability, toxic tort, or other liability matters is a plus. Deposition, courtroom and trial experience is also preferred.
