Litigation Associate Attorney – Seattle, WA

A well-established law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Seattle team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience who is looking to take on meaningful responsibility and continue developing as a litigator.

What You'll Do

  • Handle a caseload from initial case development through resolution

  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other legal documents

  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategy

  • Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings and other court proceedings

  • Work closely with partners and other attorneys on complex litigation matters

  • Communicate with clients and provide case updates

  • Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of civil litigation experience

  • Active Washington Bar membership

  • Strong legal research and writing skills

  • Experience with discovery and pretrial motions

  • Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with complex litigation, product liability, toxic tort, or other liability matters is a plus. Deposition, courtroom and trial experience is also preferred.
