Grow your career on both sides of steel construction. A Kansas City steel fabricator and erector known for structural and miscellaneous steel packages is hiring an Estimator / Project Manager, an ideal next step for an early- to mid-career professional who wants experience in estimating and project management.

In this role you will:

• Solicit quotes for detailing, erection, and coatings, and prepare bids and proposals
• Track project costs and manage RFIs and submittals
• Run quantity takeoffs and estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel packages
• Carry awarded projects through fabrication and erection, managing schedule, budget, and change orders
• Keep detailers, the shop, field crews, and general contractors coordinated

Requirements:

• Familiarity with structural and miscellaneous metals scopes
• 2-8 years in steel estimating, project management, or a related construction role
• Able to read architectural and structural drawings
• Construction management or engineering degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
• Estimating software experience is a plus

Compensation: $75,000 - $105,000, plus a yearly bonus opportunity and a sign-on bonus for top candidates joining from competitors.
