Staff Accountant
Full-Time | Atlanta| Residential Construction
A growing home builder in Austin is looking for a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone with solid bookkeeping and construction accounting experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily accounting tasks including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing
Manage vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations
Support monthly close process and financial reporting
Maintain accurate job cost and general ledger records
Collaborate with project teams and leadership on budget tracking
What We’re Looking For:
2–5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience (construction or real estate preferred)
Knowledge of payroll and general ledger functions
Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
