Commercial Construction Superintendent

Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, SC Area

A respected and growing commercial contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that values teamwork, quality craftsmanship, and long-term employee growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day jobsite operations from groundbreaking through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain schedule and quality.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized jobsite.
• Monitor project progress, resolve field issues, and communicate with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectors.
• Schedule deliveries, manpower, and subcontractors to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Maintain daily reports, site documentation, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial Construction Superintendent experience.
• Proven ability to manage commercial projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, quality control, safety, and subcontractor management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
• OSHA certification is preferred.
