Litigation Paralegal – Medical Malpractice (Preferred)

A respected defense firm in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. While the firm handles a variety of complex civil cases, they have a strong preference for candidates with medical malpractice litigation experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence

• Organize and summarize medical records and case files

• Assist with deposition and trial preparation

• Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and attorney schedules

• Coordinate with clients, experts, witnesses, and court personnel

• Assist attorneys during hearings, mediations, and trial as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal litigation experience

• Medical malpractice experience preferred

• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and court rules

• Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently

• Proficient with legal software, document management, and e-filing

• Team-oriented with a professional and positive attitude
