Outside Sales Representative – Multifamily / Property Management

About the Role Our client is seeking a plug-and-play Outside Sales Representative with strong experience in the multifamily housing and property management sector. This individual will focus on selling a full range of interior products, including faucets, boilers, water heaters, cabinetry, and other multi-housing products. The ideal candidate will already have a solid customer base and proven success in working with property managers, contractors, and apartment complexes.
Responsibilities • Develop and maintain strong relationships with property managers, contractors, and vendors, ensuring satisfaction with products and services from order to delivery. • Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities to expand the current customer base, targeting multifamily and property management accounts. • Provide product quotations, resolve customer issues, and deliver excellent service throughout the sales process. • Analyze competition within the territory, develop sales strategies, and communicate plans to management. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, trends, and industry best practices to effectively represent the company in the field. • Document all sales activities, pipeline updates, and results in CRM (Salesforce). • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service and delivery to customers.
Qualifications • 2+ years of sales experience in multifamily, property management, or related building materials/interior products industry preferred. • Strong existing relationships with property managers, contractors, or multifamily housing decision-makers is a major plus. • Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. • Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset. • Proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred). • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt quickly to market needs.
