Corporate Associate | M&A + Venture Capital

I’m partnered with a premier, growth-focused firm seeking an experienced Corporate Associate to join its Corporate & Securities practice.

This is a strategic hire for a team handling sophisticated transactions for market-leading and innovative companies. The ideal attorney will have strong venture capital and M&A experience and be ready to take ownership of deals while mentoring junior associates.

What you’ll lead and manage:

• Venture capital financings (Series A–C, convertible notes, SAFEs)

• Middle-market M&A transactions (stock & asset purchases, mergers, spin-offs, joint ventures)

• Drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents

• Corporate governance matters for public & private companies

• Cross-functional collaboration with tax, employment, IP & regulatory teams

• Direct client relationship management

This role offers meaningful client contact, deal leadership responsibility, and exposure to innovative growth companies across multiple industries. Life sciences experience is a plus, but not required.

Ideal Profile: 

4–7 years of corporate law experience 

Strong background in venture capital + M&A 

Experience with entity formation, governance & securities compliance 

Ability to manage multiple complex transactions 

Strong drafting, analytical & communication skills 

Interest in mentoring junior associates
