Litigation Associate Miami, FL

A well-established, boutique litigation firm in downtown Miami is seeking a talented Litigation Associate attorney with 4–7 years of law firm experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to handle sophisticated matters and expand their practice across multiple areas of complex litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Representing clients in complex commercial and business litigation matters
  • Defend professionals in liability matters, including lawyers, accountants, design professionals, trustees, fiduciaries, and insurance agents/brokers
  • Handle insurance-related matters, including coverage disputes, bad faith litigation, and policy analysis
  • Draft coverage opinions and provide strategic legal analysis
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and participate in all phases of litigation

Qualifications:

  • 4–7 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
  • Active bar license in Florida and in good standing
  • Strong experience in at least one of the following: complex commercial litigation, professional liability defense, or insurance coverage/bad faith matters
  • Interest in expanding into additional practice areas
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
  • Ability to manage cases and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Additional Details:

  • This role does not involve medical malpractice defense or representation of healthcare providers
  • Office-based position in downtown Miami with some flexibility
