Regional Agronomy Manager

Position Summary

The Regional Agronomy Manager is responsible for leading agronomic strategy, operational excellence, and team performance across 3–4 locations within the region. This role ensures consistent agronomic practices, high-quality customer service, and achievement of productivity and profitability goals while supporting and developing local agronomy teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for agronomy operations across 3–4 locations, ensuring alignment with company standards and regional objectives

  • Develop and implement agronomic programs, crop plans, and best management practices tailored to local market needs

  • Support location managers and agronomy staff through coaching, training, and performance management

  • Monitor crop input recommendations, inventory management, application quality, and safety compliance

  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to optimize service delivery and customer satisfaction

  • Analyze regional performance metrics (yield outcomes, margins, efficiencies) and drive continuous improvement

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements

  • Build strong relationships with growers, vendors, and industry partners within the region

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, or a related field (preferred)

  • 5+ years of agronomy or agricultural operations experience, with multi-location or leadership experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of crop production, soil fertility, crop protection, and precision agriculture

  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to travel regularly between assigned locations

  • Applicator license and/or CCA certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
