Job Description

A well- established Seed Company in California is looking to add a motivated, results-driven experienced Seed Sales Representative to their team. Candidates with at least 5 years’ experience and a current book of business will be prioritized. They offer a competitive base salary based on experience, commissions, a company vehicle, health insurance and more.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Develop, grow, manage, and maintain strong relationships with farmers, growers and agricultural clients.
  • Implement effective strategies for customer retention and satisfaction
  • Conduct cold calls and make on site visits to establish and expand customer connections
  • Sell seed products and agronomic programs
  • Gather market and competitive insights to support growth

     

    Key qualifications for consideration

     

  • 5+ years’ experience is seed sales role with proven results
  • A bachelor's degree in an agronomic field
  • Strong relationship-building and closing skills
  • Must be self-motivated, organized and goal-oriented
  • Knowledge of crop production and local Ag markets
  • Must currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver’s license
