Project Manager – Commercial Drywall
A stable, growing interior systems contractor based in the Saint Paul area is looking for a Project Manager to run commercial drywall and framing projects across the Twin Cities. You'll be the link between the field, the office, and the client, keeping projects profitable and relationships strong.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial drywall, light gauge framing, and acoustical ceiling projects through the full lifecycle
- Review contracts and scopes, and run project kickoff and turnover from estimating
- Develop and update schedules; coordinate manpower with superintendents and foremen
- Monitor job costs, budgets, and forecasts; prepare monthly billings
- Identify, price, and negotiate change orders, and track approvals
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors, submittals, and material ordering
- Maintain strong working relationships with general contractors, owners, and design teams
Qualifications
- 4–7+ years managing commercial construction projects, preferably in drywall or interiors
- Working knowledge of framing, gypsum board systems, ACT, and rated assemblies
- Proven ability to manage several projects at once and hit schedule and budget targets
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Excel, and project management software
- Clear, professional communicator with strong problem-solving skills
- Field experience or estimating background is a plus
